Set up RaiPlay subtitles
- Install Italian Dual Subtitles using the install guide.
- Open a video on RaiPlay that has an available Italian subtitle track.
- Open the extension sidebar and choose English or another translation language.
- Keep the Italian and translated subtitle lines visible while the video plays.
How the extension works with the RaiPlay player
On supported videos, the extension reads the Italian SRT or WebVTT subtitle track exposed by RaiPlay. It uses the original cue timing to display the Italian line and its translation together.
The extension does not add source captions to a video that has none. Subtitle availability depends on the program and the RaiPlay player.
